This place is our absolute favorite for catfish, shrimp & hush puppies. Oh that shrimp! We always get a huge batch for our annual family Christmas gathering, and we don't make it out of the parking lot without dipping into the shrimp! It's always a hit!
The have THE BEST, I mean The BEST fried fish and shrimp north of Houston. Very courteous people and love the service I've received.
I ordered a fish or boy. It was fantastic all of the flavors just really mesh together.
I ordered the catfish shrimp dinner. It was hot and delicious and ready when I arrived. These owners work under steaming hot conditions, yet have the attitude and kindness of angels. I will always be happy to get my Louisiana style meals from them. So glad they are close to where I live.
We went to the Atascocita location, because the Porter location was closed. That's a whole different story. Anywho! Everything was fresh, also I never experienced their red beans and rice. Boy what a treat the guy that was running the truck, was so gracious that he gave me one complimentary. It was forreal red beans and rice. Seafood was crispy and seasoned southern style. We will be back!
Great food. Service hit or miss. Depending on the weather is the ambiance. Shrimp basket is always good.

The food is ALWAYS FRESG AND HOT... well seasoned...Service is down home Louisiana....hit the place about three times a month.
They had some of the best fried shrimp I've ever tasted. I normally get grilled. My mom got the smallest fried catfish plate. They were super thin and she said they were good but not the best she's had (we take her to get catfish at least twice a week) lol. The portion sizes were great with a lot of fries. They do have different amounts you can purchase. We got there and was the first in line. By the time we left 3 more people had come. The hush puppies were on the smaller side and a bit dry, but they were good and had corn in them!!! I definitely would like to come by and try this again. Good prices and nice service!!!
Breading was perfect! I'm not usually a fan of crinkle cut fries, these were good! It seems like they mixed their own cocktail sauce, which I appreciated as well!
